"I guess I'm on my own now" Zera said to himself. He tightened his grip on the Legendary Sword and walked into the rain. Instantly he felt a burning sensation on his skin as he was drenched with the acidic rain, he now knew what Witty Phantom meant now. "I've gotta keep going" and he pressed on. The Legendary Sword began to glow brightly and he felt it improving his strength a little bit. After what seemed like an eternity of trenching through the burning rain, he could see a faint glow in the distance, and grew excited quickly. But then he heard a splashing footstep behind him.
"Well what do we have here?" asked a deep voice from behind him. He could only wonder if it was another hunter, and if her would be able to beat this one. Zera turned around slowly, to see a man with armor that made him look like a raven. It was mostly black with a green trim and mask, as well as a dark cape and small dagger. With him were two strange creatures, which he assumed were Imps.
"Who are you?" Zera asked cautiously, gripping his sword.
"I am called Dark Hunter. And I heard that there was a reward for killing a man that looks just like you. Tell me, would you happen to be the Warrior of Zera?" Zera noticed that the Imps were creeping closer.
"Yes I am. But you won't be the one to kill me"
"Oh I beg to differ. We both know what this rain is doing to you right now Zera. And plan to take full advantage of it. Meet the Feral Imp," he said gesturing to the crouching green, furry one with pink horns and claws. "And Horn Imp" On the other side of him was a repulsive creature with bloodshot eyes and a medium length black horn. "These two have been waiting ever so patiently to tear you to shreds, and they're only waiting for my command" There was a moment of dead silence between Dark Hunter and Zera. "Get him" The Feral Imp leaped forward, claws outstretched. But Zera grasped the Legendary Sword as it shone brightly and he swung it in front of himself to cut off Feral Imp's arm as it screeched in pain and fell face forward onto the ground. The Horn Imp saw this and was more cautious, he circled around Zera, trying to find his weak spot and dashed forward, horn first towards Zera. He was able to dodge but had to think quickly before the Imp sprung again. He pulled a serpentine movement to dodge and get behind the Imp, and stabbed it through the forehead with his sword.
He pulled the sword out and Horn Imp fell to the ground like Feral Imp did. Zera turned around, expecting to see Dark Hunter behind him, but was nowhere to be seen. Then he heard a creepy laughing all around him.
"Tell me Zera," said Dark Hunter from the shadows provided by the heavy rain, "Do you know of my special power?"
"No, I can't say I do," Zera responded, continuing to search for his last opponent, "Would you mind telling me?"
"I never go into battle without comrades for a reason, Zera. This is because I become stronger when more of them are killed," Zera then realized what a huge mistake he had made. Hearing of this ability made him realize. Now Dark Hunter was stronger than him, by a lot, "And can you tell me how many of my comrades you have just killed, Zera?"
"I killed two of them" Zera muttered in disbelief. How could he have been so naive?
"Yes, you killed two of my comrades," Dark Hunter echoed in a mocking tone, "And now you shall pay for your ignorance" Zera hardly had any time to think before he felt an unbearable pain on the left side of his chest, as his left arm went numb, and he lost his breath. He looked down to see Dark Hunter's dagger through his heart, and his blood dripping on his skin. "You really are a sad being, Warrior of Zera. It's a shame that I have to kill you like this. Let's make it special shall we?" Zera looked up at his murderer to see what he meant, and felt the dagger twist inside of him, causing more damage to his innards and chest. As he coughed up blood he dropped the Legendary Sword onto the ground and felt the rain burn his skin even worse than it had, and he screamed in pain. "What is this? The Legendary Sword? I wonder where you got this," Dark Hunter picked up the sword off the ground and now stood in front of Zera, "Don't worry, you'll get to die with it. In fact..." Zera couldn't think before Dark Hunter plunged the Legendary Sword into his chest as he choked on his own blood and the acidic rain. As he slowly faded in and out of reality, he was pushed onto the ground, forcing the Legendary Sword further into his chest as he screeched in pain again.
"I'll take this back now" said Dark Hunter. Ad he pulled his dagger out of Zera's heart and walked away. Zera then had a moment of peace, and he could only think. Of how he had failed his mission, when he was so close too. He could see the Realm of Light over the horizon, but between his open chest wounds and the rain burning his skin, he couldn't muster the strength to even blink. He would now die, without even accomplishing his only goal in life. He fell on his side and lost all feeling in his body, and watched the world go blank. 'What was it that Witty Phantom said?' was his dying thought.

The three continued their chase of the deck thief through the streets of the city. The thief tried many times to slow them down with obstacles but none of them worked as he was cornered in a back alley with nowhere to run.
"Give back my deck, now!" Jess demanded.
"Don't listen to him," said a voice from above them. There was a man with a cloak and hood standing on the fire escape, "You have your orders F. Carry them through"

"I draw now," Mac said with much enthusiasm, "I summon the Laval Magma Cannoneer!" And then a purple a gray creature appeared, and it looked like a robot made of
